ISUP Activities at USCAP 2017

Dear ISUP member,

 

Here is a summary of ISUP-related activities at USCAP in San Antonio March 4-10, 2017. We hope this will help you to navigate between the different meeting rooms!

 

The meeting will take place in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, but some activities will be located to the San Antonio Marriott Riverside Hotel and the Grand Hyatt hotel, which is next to the Convention Center.

 

Activities 1 and 2 are for members only while 3 – 5 are open for anyone with an interest in urological pathology. Activities 1 and 2 are free of charge for ISUP members.

 

  1. ISUP Reception

Saturday 4 March 4-6 pm

Room: Marriott Rivercenter Salon K, 3rd Floor

Special Guest Speaker: Dr Robert H Young will give an oration on “Reflections on the Great Tradition of Urologic Pathology on the Occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Founding of the International Society of Urological Pathology.”  The oration is scheduled 4.30- 5.00 pm in the same room and the presentation will include many interesting historical notes and photos.

ISUP Jubilee Medals: To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of ISUP, a medal will be given to all attendees who are ISUP members. Officers, councillors, award chairs, companion meeting convenors and editors will receive a special medal in recognition of their contributions.

Conveners: Steven Shen, Michelle Hirsch.Topic: The new TNM classification. Speakers: Amin (overview of AJCC TNM), Paner (bladder), Trpkov (kidney), Fine (prostate), Idrees (testis), Tamboli (penis).

 

  1. GU Evening Conference

Sunday 5 March 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm

Room: To be announced

There will be no ISUP Consensus meeting this year.

 

  1. Grawitz dinner

Monday 6 March 6.30 – 9.00 pm

Location: Iron Cactus, 200 River Walk Suite 100, San Antonio (invitation email will been sent out both by Dr Mahul Amin’s secretary and by us, please sign up according to instructions in the email)
